The series "Civics and Democracy" offered by Nova Southeastern University's Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) and funded by The Florida Humanities continues on Wednesday, January 12 from 12:30 to 2:00 pm.  Dr. Charles Zelden is a widely known expert in the areas of American politics, voting and democracy.  January's lecture will focus on the long fight for the franchise in American history – the fight for inclusion and acceptance as represented by having the right to vote.
