Screening & Discussion of the Doumentary "13th"




Christ Church United Methodist Anti-Racism Task Force, in conjunction with the L.A. Lee YMCA/ Mizell  Community Center, invites LWV to a screening of the award-winning documentary 13th and discussion afterward on Friday, February 10 at 6:30 pm at the Victory Black Box Theater, 1409 NW 6th Street  (Sistrunk Blvd.), Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311. The film explores mass incarceration and the presence of  racial criminalization from the end of slavery to the present. Free popcorn and sodas will be served.
