72 Años de Perseverancia: Marcha en Apoyo de la Enmienda 19th
In 1973, U.S. Congress named August 26th as “Women's Equality Day” to commemorate the certification of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, which gave women the right to vote. Celebrate this special day with the League of Women Voters of Broward County. The presentation describes the long, hard fight for women of all colors to obtain the right to vote.
Between the presentations in Spanish and English, the League will host an EqualiTEA with light refreshments.
