Late yesterday evening, the Governor postponed Florida's Special Session on Congressional Redistricting from April 20-24 to April 28-May 1, while also significantly expanding the scope of the special session beyond mid-decade redistricting.
While mid-decade redistricting is still the focus of special session, the expanded agenda will also:
- A.I. Bill of Rights for Floridians
- Public records exemption for A.I. investigations
- Medical freedom legislation similar to this year's stalled Senate Bill 1756
