The League of Women Voters of Broward County filled the ballroom at Jacaranda Country Club May 3 to celebrate leadership at its annual fundraising luncheon.

A panel of women leaders was led by Gail Bulfin and included Leah Carpenter, Linda Thompson Gonzalez and Alexis Simeone. In keeping with the theme "Hats Off to Women Who Lead," there were fabulous hats plus songs from talented local performer Zaria Modeste, a raffle, conversations and camaraderie.

Proceeds of the fundraiser will help the League in its work educating voters about the 2026 election.
