About 20 League members attended orientations to become volunteers with our speakers bureau during the 2026 election season.
The next step for volunteers is to be trained in the content of our Decision 2026 presentation. Monica Elliott, voters services chair, will provide training via Zoom to prospective speakers so that they can master the details of this election and answer questions. Training dates are June 24 at 7 p.m. or July 2 at 2 p.m. If you want to participate, sign up here:

In addition, the Speakers Bureau team is looking to collect names and emails of groups that might want a presentation. Do you belong to or know a group where the League could make a presentation? These can include churches, temples, clubs, neighborhood associations, nursing homes and any kind of gathering of five or more. If so, please email
