The LWVBC
Speakers Bureau
Needs More Speakers
If you love a captive audience - the Speakers Bureau is the place for you.
Educating voters about how, when, where and why to vote is the top mission of the League of Women Voters, and a key way we do that is through our Speakers Bureau.
Our volunteers are critical to making the Speakers Bureau a success and we need more volunteers to be trained, especially in the election-year Decision 2026 program.
Don't worry, we've got your back.
This session will introduce you to how the Speakers Bureau works, how to become a Speaker and general guidelines on making a presentation. Training on specific programs will come later, via Zoom. We'll also provide material on using PowerPoint, the necessary technology, public speaking guidelines and more information than you need about the subject matter.
No experience necessary.
Training is open to members and would-be members, but presenters are required to be LWVBC members.
This registration is for the first of two trainings, June 6 at Riverland Branch Library. If you can't make this program, consider registering for a repeat of this program on Monday, June 15 at Pompano Beach Branch Library.
