Remembering Margaret McGrath

The League of Women Voters of Broward mourns the passing of an active member, Margaret McGrath, who served on the board of the League’s Education Fund. You can make a donation in her memory to the Margaret McGrath Memorial Fund. The League will use the money to fund a project Margaret would have loved and supported.

Here is the obituary published in the Sun Sentinel:

"Margaret Hart McGrath, after completing a trip to Antarctica, died, in Ushuaia, Argentina, on Jan. 27, 2023, at age 68 from complications of recently diagnosed pancreatic cancer. An alumni of Wellesley College and Harvard Business School, her career included time at Fort Motor Company and at PPG Industries.

"In retirement, Margaret was active in many civic organizations, particularly the American Association of University Women and the League of Women Voters, both in Pittsburgh and in Florida. She cherished time with her far-flung family and the leisurely pleasures of the garden.
