State Council 2024

 

The LWV of Florida is inviting all Florida League members to attend our 2024 Council which is scheduled for June 1 at 10:00 a.m. (ET). This is a virtual event.

Due to a change to the bylaws at the League's last convention, for the first time delegates we will be voting on adding new board members to the state Board of Directors.

 

This action has required thorough review of the bylaws and discussion with staff.The extra work and staff time to plan and set up the process for holding council will be offset in part by a $25.00. registration fee. In conjunction, all Council attendees (delegates and non-delegates) will receive a League swag package We hope you will join us!

 

The deadline to register is May 24. Remember that everyone can attend but that the number of delegates that each league can have is set by the size of the League. The tally sheet for the number of delegates for each League can be found byclicking here.
