General Membership Meeting: Voter Education

About this event

We will begin 2026 with a general meeting focused on voter education. Our League depends on volunteers willing to go out into the community to educate voters, including encouraging voter registration (new and updates) and vote-by-mail requests. We do this primarily by attending local events. We tabled at 57 events during the 2024 election year! But, this does requires lots of volunteers and members must educate themselves first, so they are comfortable responding to questions from the public. We have support materials to help our volunteers.

To bring members up to speed on the latest voting information, we will have two meetings on January 14- one at Noon and one at our usual time of 7 pm. We encourage all members, potential members and anyone interested in educating voters to attend one (or both) of these meetings.
