About this event

This session offers a guided tour of the emerging ecosystem of civic technology, the platforms and tools that enable meaningful public dialogue. We’ll explore how these digital systems can extend the reach of in-person facilitation, allowing communities to listen, deliberate, and decide together across distance and difference. Participants will see examples of hybrid approaches where online tools and face-to-face gatherings complement one another to create more inclusive, transparent, and participatory processes. We’ll also examine how new frameworks are helping ensure that digital participation stays accountable, human-centered, and democratic.

Speakers:
- Lucas Cioffi, QiqoChat
- Josh Lerner, PeoplePowered
- Ramon Perez, Digital Democracy Project
- Ann Reidy, Civic Health Project
