At our June 9 general meeting, the League of Women Voters of Broward heard from Madeline Kaufman and Olivia Williamson from the University of Miami's Rosentiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, who talked about their Rescue a Reef project. This is a fascinating research project and hands-on effort to save our coral reefs from the damage caused by several factors including climate change.
