To kick off National Voting Rights Month, The Sentencing Project and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) is hosting a discussion exploring how felony disenfranchisement policies impact individuals with a criminal conviction, the complexities of getting voting rights restored, and the cycle of criminalization some face as a result. Join on August 31 at 1:00 p.m. (ET) to learn from advocates who have been successful in advancing reforms in their state and are actively working to guarantee voting rights for all justice impacted citizens.
