We’re setting up a table with voter ed & registration materials from 5 PM until 7 PM in the pre-game zone. Game starts at 7:30PM Parking costs $10 on line before the game (no cash accepted) and $15 at the door but will be reimbursed.
Note: Only parking fee will be reimbursed. Tickets for the game must be purchased separately and will NOT be reimbursed by LWVBC.
Florida law requires a citizen to register to vote at least 29 days before the General Election. Go to www.RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov to register or check your status.

As part of the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Otto Valenzuela will make a presentation about Hispanic Unity of Florida. Otto is Director of Public Policy and Advocacy at Hispanic Unity of Florida (HUF), a community organization located in Hollywood, Florida, whose mission is to empower immigrants and others to become self-sufficient, productive, and civically engaged and is the largest immigrant serving organization in Broward County. HUF‘s efforts include policy strategies to find long-term, multi-generational solutions to the issues our community faces.

On 31 October 1947, the UN General Assembly, by resolution (168 ((II)), declared that the Day would be devoted to raising awareness of the goals and achievements of the Organization and gaining support for its work.
The deadline to request that a vote-by-mail ballot be mailed is no later than 5:00 p.m. (local time) on the 12th day before the election.

2025 Florida Legislative Session Begins
The Florida Legislature is the legislature of the U.S. state of Florida. It is organized as a bicameral body composed of an upper chamber, the Senate, and a lower chamber, the House of Representatives. The legislature is composed of 160 state legislators (120 in the House and 40 in the Senate). The primary purpose of the legislature is to enact new laws and amend or repeal existing laws. It meets in the Florida State Capitol building in Tallahassee.
